Dr. Pamela Antionette Larde, PresidentDr. Pamela Larde, President of Tandem Light Press, is a professor, coach, award-winning author, and business owner. She founded Tandem Light Press with a heart to amplify the voices of the often unheard who have compelling stories and wisdom to impart. Tandem Light Press has grown into a company committed to publishing award-winning books written for women and by women. Dr. Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University.

As a certified coach, Dr. Pamela is the founder of the Academy of Creative Coaching and Director of Education for the Institute of Coaching, a McLean/Harvard affiliate. She is a certified coach and received training in suicide prevention, motivational interviewing, and substance abuse counseling.

Strongly committed to education and research, Dr. Pamela is an Associate Professor of Leadership for Anderson University’s PhD Leadership Program. Her research focuses on race and gender dynamics, self-motivation, joy resilience, and posttraumatic growth. Additionally, she has written three books, has contributed chapters to scholarly publications, and presents her research extensively for national and international audiences.

 

 

Djemie Murancy, Publishing DirectorDjemie Maurancy, Publishing Director, serves to assist and support authors throughout the phases of the publishing process.  With Djemie’s extensive background of 17 years as a Therapist and Life Coach, she provides our authors with a personalized, supportive experience of sharing their gift of writing with the world.  Djemie believes that the ability to share great works allows individuals to manifest the highest and truest expression of themselves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caroline Smith, Chief Creative Officer

Caroline Smith, Chief Creative Officer, graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Publishing and Printing Arts. As an award-winning executive editor and author coach, Caroline has had the honor of bringing over 300 books to life through publication. Her favorite genre to read, write, and edit is romance, with fantasy, true crime, and biographies in a three-way tie for second place. In 2014 she won an IPBA Gold Ben Franklin Award in collaboration with one of her authors for editorial and design. To better assist her authors all over the world, she developed a podcast called “Inspiration to Publication.” She is a member of Exceptional Women in Publishing, the National Federation of Press Women, and the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors.

When she’s not writing or editing, she can be found teaching workshops and classes on a range of topics from writing and publishing to meditation and natural wellness while also getting her master’s in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte in Creative Writing. Caroline is the author of Perspective Parenting: A Modern Approach for Single Parents, Writing as Meditation: Building Your Book with Attention and Intention, and a romance novel called Under a Blanket of Blue. She currently resides in the mountains of North Georgia with her three wild children, three goats, six bunnies, two dogs, and a cat.

 

 

Lee Ashby Watts, Vice President of Brand Experience, is the founder and CEO of Ashby & Watts consulting and chief marketing officer at a global law firm: Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

As a brand strategist, Lee is passionate about helping professionals establish clarity and connection in their marketing, branding, and leadership. She is a blog contributor for Forbes Magazine and is a frequent speaker at conferences.

With over 18 years of marketing, strategy, and leadership experience, ranging from corporate to non-profits and churches, she has discovered her passion for helping “light bulbs” go off and creating “aha” moments in business and strategy.  Through years of coaching and assisting individuals, groups, and departments through strategy, marketing, change, and growth, she has gathered a wealth of information and enjoys showing others how to do business and life at their peak.

Currently, she is a member of The Junior League of Atlanta, The Legal Marketing Association, and ColorComm. She is a former board member for Legal Marketing Association Southeast, former VP of Public Relations for Toastmasters, served on the marketing and PR committee for the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, as well as a board member at Morehouse School of Medicine. She earned her Executive MBA from Georgia State University and Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University.

 

Bre’Anna Washington, Artist in Residence, is an artist and illustrator extraordinaire. Chicago Born, Charlotte Raised, Bre’Anna Bee The Sage Washington travels and lives everywhere providing nourishing experiences through Art! Bee is a certified RaSekhi (Kemetic Reiki) Practitioner and Therapeutic Art Life Coach actively serving her community as a Youth Arts Mentor and Perinatal Health Worker (Doula).

Bee’s vision is for our children and their families to have the support and freedom to explore their inner and external world with the deep knowing, that no matter what the canvas of our lives looks like now, The Highest Source always has greater beauty at work!
