THE VEINYARD
There isn’t any question that American black men have had set backs in America, a country in which a vast majority were born in, both socially and economically. Experiments, legislation and assassination are part of history when discussing the path of American black men from slavery till today. One can argue a great deal was made to put a hindrance on this particular group. All that effort, but what if one attempt didn’t have an adverse effect on black men but gave them an advantage while putting everyone else in danger? This book gives an insight into that “what if” question. In the height of the Civil Rights movement, the government releases a virus targeting black males. With it having no effect the virus was brushed under the rug and forgotten until today. The only way to combat this terminal virus lies in the blood flowing through the veins of black men in America. How will the country react? Will some men donate willingly? Will some resist? We will see through the eyes of four different black men who come from different backgrounds but somehow are brought together and must decide their fate in the midst of corruption, resentment, and greed.
